Teton Anniversary

Jackson, Wyoming - Day 6

Today was our one year wedding anniversary and our eleven year anniversary from when Katie and I started dating. We explored nearly all of downtown Jackson Hole, taking a break half way through at Silver Dollar Grill to share a Bison burger. To celebrate our anniversary we ate at a place called the Blue Lion. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the music from a solo acoustic guitarist. For a starter we had a baked brie en croute. This was a "french brie brushed with dijon and layered with balsamic caramelized onions, wrapped in flaky puff pastry and baked until golden brown." For our entry we shared the rack of lamb, "New Zealand lamb rubbed with dijon mustard, seasoned with bread crumbs and baked, served sliced with a peppercorn-rosemary cream sauce and jalapeño mint sauce." I asked our waiter to bring out a glass of whatever he would suggest to pair with the lamb and he brought out a Cabernet Sauvignon. Dinner was truly amazing, one of the best meals we have ever had. After dinner we made our way to the Jackson Hole Playhouse where we watched a production of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."
