Old Faithfull, Yellowstone

Jackson, Wyoming - Day 5

We said goodbye to our lovely cabin and made our way north to Yellowstone. The drive was a hypnotic two lane highway, weaving its way between the parks. There were several scenic pull offs that we explored, most notably Lewis Falls. We would soon arrive at our main attraction, Old Faithful. When we arrived, it was estimated that it would erupt after about 45 minutes to an hour so we explored the surrounding area and its many smaller geysers. When we finished that trail, we returned to Old Faithful and only had to wait about ten more minutes. As the eruption subsided, we returned to the car and made our way towards Jackson. On the way we stopped and ate pizza at Leeks Marina and then watched a herd of buffalo graze a field off the highway.
