Snorkling in Cancun

Cancun, Mexico - Day 3

On our last full day in Cancun we went snorkeling, which was great. Our group consisted of about ten people and each couple had their own jet ski looking boat, but with an outboard motor. The ride there was only supposed to take 45 minutes, but everybody had some sort of issue. At one part our boat started going real slow and our guide had to show us a trick of throwing the boat in a quick reverse to "clear the trash from the prop." Even though the ride took longer than expected Katie and I both really enjoyed it. When we made it to the reef, we tied up our boats and jumped into the water to snorkel. We saw some colorful fish and some interesting coral. We ate lunch back at the resort, serenaded by "DJ ba ba ba Brian!" As soon as we could we got away from that noise. We left and stood in the Caribbean one last time. Afterwards we went and met Kelly and Sean and hung out in a jet pool.  For dinner we ate at 'la Bana' and had the most delicious gyoza, sushi, and sashimi. We met Kelly, Sean, Mike, Mary, Kegan, and Tiffany at the tail end of their dinner and hung out for the rest of the night.
