Parasailing in the Gulf

Cancun, Mexico - Day 2

Katie and I slept in today. After leisurely getting out of bed and starting the day, we put on our swimsuits and headed downstairs for breakfast. I got an omelet and Katie got some eggs. After breakfast, we went and splashed around in the Caribbean. The waves were a bit rough, so we decided we would rather swim in the pool. The pool turned out to have a bar, so we got a drink. After pruning up a bit, we returned to our room and took a nap. Post snooze, we went to the resorts taco bar which turned out to be pretty tasty. On a whim, we decided we wanted to do something a bit more adventurous and went para sailing, which was great. Katie and I had made reservations at a tapas place called Ventos where we ate steak, duck, octopus, a foie gras creme brulee, polenta, and chilean sea bass. All delicious. After dinner we headed down to the AE beach party where I saw a bunch of my friends from work and sat with Kelly, Sean, Mike and Mary. They had cool drums and fire dancers which was fun to watch. We took a stroll on the beach before calling it a night.
