Khwai River
Khwai, Okavango Delta, Botswana - Day 11-12
I am going to do something a little different for the next two posts. Since the pictures and routines we will have over these days will be so similar, I am going to split the safari up into two posts. This first post on our first location which was around the Khwai River and the next post over the time we spent in the Moremi Game Reserve.Khwai Routine:
5:45 AM - Wake up call
6 AM - Breakfast
6:20 AM - Morning Game Drive
1 PM - Lunch
3:10 PM - Evening Game Drive
6:45 PM - Night Game Drive (bust out the flashlight)
8 PM - Dinner
Gareth told us his schedule was aggressive, but it would give us the best chance to see game. He said if we needed to, we could start a little later or skip the night drives, but we never took him up on that. Katie and I were just as motivated to see everything and anything.
