Land of Fire and Ice

Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland - Day 13

Part one of our new plan to get the trip back on track was staying one night at a cabin and then exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula before making our way to Reykjavik. En route we explored Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall, enjoyed the views of Kirkjufell mountain, gazed upon a glacier topped stratovolcano Snæfellsjökull from atop our own smaller volcano Hólahólar, and finally we enjoyed another interesting rock formation on the coast named Gatklettur.
