Exploring Dublin
Dublin, Ireland - Day 6
Today we explored Dublin. As we were walking past Merrion Park we were handed a flyer for the "Merrion Square Lunchtime Market." There was live music and tons of great smelling food. I got a wood fire pizza and Katie got a pulled pork sandwich, both were really good. We sat on the grass and people watched/listened to the music, probably the most European thing we have done so far. After that we did the touristy stuff. We went in the Natural History Museum of Ireland, the Museum of Archaeology, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Trinity College. In between we caught snippets of street performers in downtown Dublin. We grabbed some dinner in a small cafe on the way back to our hotel.
