To Paris

Paris, France - Day 17

We left Qbic, our modern London Hotel and rode the subway to London Pancras train station. We got their early enough to grab some lunch at a nice pub around the corner. Across the street we found platform 9 and 3/4 at Kings Cross Station. There was a surprisingly long line so we opted to just take a peak and leave. Afterwords we grabbed some seats and waited to board the train. At 3:30pm we headed towards Paris via the Eurostar. Our hotel was just a 10 minute walk away. We checked in and dropped off our bags. For dinner we had Japanese! We quickly learned that our hotel was right next to a little 'China Town' in Paris. Fine by me because I love Asian food. We had sushi and gyoza. One thing I found interesting is that gyoza (Japanese) or jiaozi (Chinese) in the states are called dumplings or pot stickers (jiaozi literal translation), but in France they were called 'ravioli japonais'. Anyway, I thanked Katie for letting me get Asian food in Paris and we called it a night.
