Galway and the Cliffs

Galway, Ireland - Day 2

Today we woke up to a delicious breakfast of sausage, bacon, eggs, tomato, muffins, and cake. After fueling up we headed north to Galway via a beautiful drive through the Burren. In Galway we went to the aquarium, the beach, and downtown. On the way back we stopped in Doolin to eat at Gus O'Connors pub on Annette and Kevin's suggestion. They had live music and delicious food. Katie and I also shared our first Guinness! We watched the sunset from the Cliffs and then made our way back to the B&B. Fun facts of the day: Heavy accents plus my deafness makes for some awkward conversations, on a nice day the Irish love their "99" soft serve ice cream, and Katie drove with the stick for the first time!
